Hello
Our SLD is stored on central server, EP connect ot this server for SLD info and JCO definitions.
What will happen if we will take this server down for maintanance?
Can we cache the JCO info at the portal side for few hours , so no access to the central SLD will be needed?

If you have a central SLD I would think it is used more than for just JCo's so it may be implications on other components (XI/PI?)

It's not possible to cache the SLD information. The JCo destination check occurs at run time so if the SLD is down the applicaiton will fail. Look at the SLD planning guide that is available under /instguides for more options. In general though, you will have to do what the previous poster stated and create a secondary SLD.
