hi,
i want to know about sld ....... for development , quality , production, do we require three sld. or one sld is sufficient for that ........
how we can suggest our customer to go with one sld or more than two sld ... and wht are there benifits.
thanks in advance,
jp
I agree with Ahmed becoz, when you configure as a central SLD, it will be easier to configure your CMS (Change and Management Service) to handle your transports easily. In this way, you can easily create tracks for different environemnts and it will be easier to relate tracks.

JP,
Please refer the below document to get the view of placing your SLD in XI landscape.

Hey
it all depends upon the company's setup, you can have a central SLD for Dev,QA and Prd,as well as you can have separate SLD's for all three of them.
i m more comfortable with central SLD coz i feel its a bit easier to move objects from Dev to QA and to Prd.
thanx

JP,
My experience says that one should have one SLD for DEV and QA and one SLD for production. Check this document for some more information on this:
