Hi All,

I am working on XI to IDoc scenario.

I would like to set up the Dynamic Idoc Serialization at R-3 end.

Could you please share the step by step document for the serialization set up?

I have gone through Michal's book on mastering Idoc scenario's using XI.

He refers to transaction we85 to set up the rules for queues.

Could you guys please brief me about it in details?

Please guide me.

Regards,

Vignesh

Hi vignesh,

Unfortunately I do not have Michal's book but, did you had a look at <a href="/people/community.user/blog/2006/11/04/how-to-serialize-idoc-xml-messages-fed-into-xi">How to serialize IDoc XML messages fed into XI</a>?

The procedure is also explained there.

Kind Regards,

Hi Michal,

In my scenario, Idocs are inbound to the SAP System.

There are three tabs available:

Inbound Options, Post Processing Permitted Agent and telephony

In tab Inbound Options:

I have to give Process Code, Check box for cancelling process after syntax error.

And option to select Process immediately or background job.

Please let me know, where should i define the rule name or configuration required for inbound idoc processing is different?

Please guide.

Your book is reallly informative.

Hi,

You need to create the entry for Rule in WE85 and that Rule to be configured in your inbound side partner profile ..under outbound options tab ..select queue processing and select the Rule which was created above..

hi Sergio,

>>>>I have already prepared my letter for Santa Claus, but I have to wait till december to get my present

you need to be a "good boy" for a whole year to get it then...

are you sure it's possible ?

Hi Michal

Right, that's hard for a whole year, but perhaps I can try to answer on Santa's questions in the XI forum, maybe he will appreciate my support and deliver me the present anyway ..

hmm, not sure..

yes, he should be interested in SD, but he does not reward points so...

I'm scared we will be banned from the XI forum , we are going "A LITTLE BIT" out of topic
