adapters list!

Hi,

our basis guy installed XI and when I see Adapter monitoring I see only JPR not any other adapters. does it mean ,if we have JPR we have all other adapters too?

in PI7.0 SP12.

I told him adapters should appear atleast in greyed state, but he says JPR has all adapters (PI7.0).

I know we need to import Basis SWCV and do the cache refresh ,if we dont see adapters. But he say JPR has all adapter.

is there any <b>SAP note</b> stating that adapter should appear along with JPR

any suggestions?

thank you.

Babu

any notes from SAP?

Hey

JPR is just Java proxy runtime and it monitors only Java proxies.he needs to properly install all the adapters, and it must show in RWB.

just have a look at the communication channel monitoring,if you have any adapters over there

thanx

We have the problem still existing but I know how to approach,I dont have permissions as Admin.but if you have permission then you ca try this way(see installation guide how to import XI basis content).

<b>Importing the XI Content for Software Component Version SAP Basis

6.40</b>1. Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_00_00.tpz from <installation DVD>/XI_CONTENT (or you can dowload from service market place but has to be same sp level) to

directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

2. On your SAP XI host, call transaction SXMB_IFR.

3. Choose Repository (Design).

4. Choose &#8594; Tools &#8594; Import Development Objects

2. Choose the file /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import

XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_00_00.tpz

5. Import the file.

<b>Performing Initial Adapter Engine Cache Refresh</b>Perform the initial cache refresh of the Adapter Engine by executing the following URL:

http://<host>:<J2EE-Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

Where <host> is the Adapter Engine host and <J2EE-Port> is the HTTP port of the

SAP J2EE engine (The following naming convention applies:

5<J2EE_instance_number>00. 50000, for example, if your J2EE instance is 00).

Log on data: XIDIRUSER with password

Testing

and see adapter available in RWB ->.......->adapter monitoring after all the steps above.should get all the adapters apart from JPR.

let me know if you have got it

thx
