Possible IDOC formats

first of all, I apologise if this is not the right thread to put my question.

What are the possible formats I can extract an INVOIC01 IDOC to ? I used to know XML, but I'm told there are others (EDI ?)

Where can I find structure definition (record definition) for the above formats ?

Go n check in we05...there u can see the already existing IDOC in SAP system.

OK, let me add some detail.

I don't have an SAP instance. As a matter of fact, I know very little about SAP. I have to convert invoices coming out of SAP systems which I have no control on. I don't know what formats to expect, save for XML.

I need to know the possible formats an IDOC INVOIC01 file might be in, and I need to retrieve their specification.
