Krishna,

Try the following:

- Close your browser

- Remove the contents of the folder X:\Documents and Settings\[your user]\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache\http\D[xihost]

- Start the ID again

If that doesn't help, go to 'Administration' in the Integration Builder homepage (SXMB_IFR), select the tab 'Directory', select 'Java™ Web Start Administration ' and select 'Re-initialization'.

After that finished, try starting you ID again.

Kind regards,

Koen

Hi Koen

I have just received help from a co-worker asking me to re-initialize:). Earlier I tried "Reinitialize and force-sign in ". Looks like that is not the solution. If i am able to log into ID this time, I will award you full points.

Thanks for your time

Corrupted JAR file is most likely a proxy interfering with Java WebStart. Be sure to disable any proxies in Java WebStart.

You could use java webstart version with j2sdk1.4.2_XX(Preferrably j2sdk1.4.2_06 - j2sdk1.4.2_10)

HI prateek

thanks for your response

I am using 1.4.2.8. SO that should not be an issue.

Also, I have specified to use "Direct Connection" to the Internet in the proxy settings.Should i specify it as "None"

Yes,

it is the same i changed. It didnt have the effect. Btw, here is the first line of the stack trace

JNLPException[category: Download Error : Exception: java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file : LaunchDesc: null ]

This might offer some help to fix the issue
