Step 41 "configuring system landscape directory" runs forever during instal

Hi

I have just setup a new server with Oracle 10g and install Netweaver 2004s.

We wanted to have everything on this server, ABAP, XI, BI, etc.

During the install, it seems to be stuck at the configure SLD...The cpu is running and the processes as well.

I want to know how long that step is suppose to take?

thanks

JF

hi Jean,

i am also facing the exact issue. i have setup a new win2k3 server and trying to configure all the Usage types on that system. I have not taken the NWDI and except that everything else was checked as far as UTs are concerned. the same "Configuring system landscape directory:" step runs forever and is never coming out. no addl info was found in any of the log files.

Could you please let me know how you have solved your issue?

Thanks,

Sridhar

it should be already finished....but...if it is updating components information for sld...this operation takes about 3 or more hours
