Hi Bhavesh and Michal,

I was Posted This Thread in Most of the Modules like ABAP, Exchange Infrastructure And Netweaver Administration. But there is No Such Right Answers . So Finally I am Posting the Same Thread By Udo's Advice Like this For Both of You.

I Created TS Web As ABAP in SLD For <b>XI Server</b> Using SLDAPICUST & RZ70.

Same Way For Creating a TS for Web AS ABAP For R/3 Server in SLD Automatically I Followed these Steps.

Log on to R/3 System

1) Go to SLDAPICUST TC

2)Entered Host name of the XI System ,Port, User As PIAPPLUSER, and Master PWD.

And Checked Primary Check Box.Saved( Same Info. Provided Here Which is Maitained in XI Server )

3) Goto RZ70 TC

4) Entered Host name And Gateway Service of XI System. And Activated

5) Clicked on Start Data Collection.

Here I Got the Error As <b>"RFC call failed : Error opening an RFC connection".</b>

Used RFC is SLD_NUC.So

Then

1) If I Executed SLD_NUC in SM59 With SAP XI Details( Gateway Host, Gateway Service ) Means It's giving Error Like as Follows <b>"TheGetT1002 : error ( Msg - 10 not found )"</b>

If I Executed SLD_NUC in SM59 With SAP R/3 Details ( Gateway Host, Gateway Service ) Means It's giving Error Like as Follows <b>"program SLD_NUC not registered"</b>

I Checked With SAPSLDAPI,,LCRSAPRFC also, these r Also Giving Errors.

For All these RFC's I am Maintaining Same <b>Gateway Host,,Gateway Service,,Program ID

</b> For Both Sides XI And R/3

<b>Every RFC is Working For XI Side Problem is in R/3 Side</b>

Please let me Know the Solution And Help me

I Hope Finally You can Solve the Problem

Regards

Khanna

OK we had the same problem and as I said it was solved by deleting any JCo Provider that had UC or NUC in its name.

What version of XI are you on?

What does your transaction SLDCHECK say?

Also if you are trying to run the data supplier bridge in RZ70 it should just work when using the Gateway and Host in RZ70...

Hi Alex,

1) we Don't have Any Name With NUC Or UC in Visual Admin.

2) We are Using PI7.0

3) If Did SLDCHECK in XI Means It's Success

In SAP R/3 Means Its Error

4) If Run RZ70 in XI Means It's Just Working And Creating TS For XI As Web AS ABAP.

In R/3 Means Its Error.

Please Let me Know

Hi rajesh,

Did you ask your basis team to login to IDS development server and ping the new xi server .

If ping doesnt work then theres some problem in network.

That is the reason the destination SLD_NUC doesnt work.

Secondly the problem is not at all related to program id or gateway since the ABAP destination whcih you created in SAP IDES for test purpose is also not working.

Regards,

Sumit

ps : award points if that solved your problem.

Maybee you miss entries in the /etc/services file on your application system?

Check the file for entries corresponding to the gateway service of your SLD.

For example

sapgw01 3301/tcp SAP System Gateway Port

Hi Johan,

I Checked in the Integration Server System.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services.

I Have <b>sapgw01s 4801/tcp # SAP System Gateway Security Port</b>

Here sapgw01 is My Gateway Service

But I Didn't Checked that file in Application System.

Please let me know

Hi Johan,

I Have One Link On the Same Check Up. I will Send this Link to u.Please have a Look at this.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b0/6c52418328db2be10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

If I check <b>( In XI Server )</b>

I don't have <b>gwrd.exe</b> in Windows Task Manager

When I Opened Control pannel-->>Administrative Tools->>Services

I Didn't Found Any <b>SAPGWS_<InstanceNumber></b>

I Found <b>SAPPNW_01, SAPPNW_00</b> in Started Status ( PNW is SAP System ID,,01 is Instance Number ) .

As You Said ::::

When I Check out <b>C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\service</b>

I Have <b>sapgw01 3301/tcp</b> in XI Server Machine.

Please let me Know Should I Maintain the Gateway Service Like As You Said in Both Application System As well as in the XI System ?????

Please Let Me Know the Steps In Brief......What Should I Do In R/3 As Well As In XI Systems..

<b>If I Executed SLD_NUC in SM59 With SAP R/3 Details ( Gateway Host, Gateway Service ) Means It's giving Error Like as Follows "program SLD_NUC not registered"</b>

The reason for this issue is that in the visual Admin you have to specify with which gateway and system to register the Program which should be the XI system. SO basically you are getting this error because your Visual Admin is not registering with the R/3 Gateway.

<b>Here I Got the Error As "RFC call failed : Error opening an RFC connection".

Used RFC is SLD_NUC.So </b>

Goto your Visual Admin - JCo Providers and Delete both the UC and NUC entries...

I know this sounds mad but we had a similar issue and when we did this everything worked...

Let me know is this workd

Hi Alex,

<u>

</u>Goto your Visual Admin - JCo Providers and Delete both the UC and NUC entries...

There is no Such Entries in Visual Admin.

I Have Only the Following Program ID's:::

AI_DIRECTORY_PNW

AI_RUNTIME_PNW

LCRSAPRFC_PNW

SAP.CCMS.CEN.PNW

SAPSLDAPI_PNW

am Able to Run LCRSAPRFC,SAPSLDAPI,SLD_UC & SLD_NUC---RFC's in integration Server of SM59.

When I came to R/3 Server I am Unable to Run Even a Single RFC Also. I am Getting Errors That I have Mentioned At First.

Please Let me Know

OK I guess that part has been done then...

The reason for the problem in R/3 is that the visual admin registers those programs with the SAP XI Gateway so as far as R/3 is concerned there are no such programs because they havent been registered.

Could you let me know where you are with things now and what your error message is as well as what you are trying to achieve and in which transaction?

Also by the way in the RFC destinations in R/3 do you have the parameters for the XI?

Hi Alex,

Here My XI Host name is EPNWSRV Port is "50100" And R/3 Host name is SAPPLMIDES.

<b>My Aim is to Create A TS in SLD of Type Web AS ABAP For SAP R/3 System</b>

I Already Created TS in SLD For Integration Server ( XI )

To Do This I Went to SAP R/3 System--->> TCode SLDAPICUST And Entered the Host name of XI Server,,Port,,User As PIAPPLUSER,,PWD is Master PWD. Finally Saved

After this I Went to TC RZ70 And Given XI Host name And Service As sapgw01.

Then Clicked on Start Data Collection.

<b>After Execution</b>

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDRFC

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDMSGSRV

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDIPSERV

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDINSTSP

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDINSTSC

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDGWSRV

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDDBSYS

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDCOMPSYS

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDCLIENT

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDBCSYS

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDAPPL_SERV

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Execute program: SLDASSOC

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Collection of SLD data finished

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Data collected successfully

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : RFC data prepared

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Used RFC destination: SLD_NUC

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : RFC call failed: Error opening an RFC connection.

0: sapplmides_IDE_00 : Batch job not scheduled

Now I Checked SLD_NUC in Sm59 of R/3 System

I Entered the R/3 Hostname And Gateway Service Here Means It's Saying <b>"program SLD_NUC not registered"</b>

I Entered the XI Hostname And Gateway Service Here Means It's Saying <b>"TheGetT1002 : error ( Msg - 10 not found )"</b>

Please Let me Know the Solution

Hi Rajesh,

Unbelieable you are still facing the same problem.

Would be great if you can ask your company to hire experienced basis

consultant. Or if you are in B`lore i can come n do the same .

<i>I Entered the XI Hostname And Gateway Service Here Means It's Saying "TheGetT1002 : error ( Msg - 10 not found )"</i>

It should always be XI servers host name and gateway.

In destination SLD_NUC in SAP R/3 where you enter the gateway host try to give the IP Address of XI server instead of the host name.

BTW Did you select the Activation type as Registered server program.

Sumit

Hi Rajesh,

Everything seems okay.. Try to create a ABAP destination from your R/3 IDES system to XI and check if that works.

Does the destination LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI work from your IDES system?

Also ask your basis team to login to IDES server using remote desktop. Ask them to ping your xi server ie epnwsrv and check if they get any response..

Sumit

Hi Sumit,

Nothing RFC's Like SAPSLDAPI,,,LCRSAPRFC,,SLD_NUC,,SLD_UC are Working Sm59 of IDES System....

But in XI System it's Fine.

I Created one RFC like "Sample1" of type 3 in Sm59 of R/3 System.

I Tested the Connection With XI Details, Then It's Giving the Same Error <b>"TheGetT1002 : error ( Msg - 10 not found )"</b>

If I Tested with R/3 System Details Using Other Client means Its Showing Success.

Please Help me

hi,

my advice:

1. ask any XI developer/admin to log on to your system and check it

(your issue sounds easy to resolve)

2. read rules of engagement thread for this forum and use them

How may registered programs do you have in Java Admin Console?

You need the SLD_UC & SLD_NUC, SAPSLDAPI_<SID>, LCRSAPRFC_<SID> as per your SM59 rfc connections.

Make sure all these activities are completed: http://help.sap.com/bp_bpmv130/Documentation/Installation/XI30InstallGuide.pdf
