Transfer Order Error

SAP Gurus,

I'm currently encountering an issue.

When i wated to create transfer order (for picking)(Tcode LT03), after putting the warehouse number, plant and delivery document number, the transfer order was not created. I then got the following messages..

Diagnosis

This delivery does not contain any open items that require picking.

This can result from the following conditions:

o The delivery item is not assigned to the warehouse number you

entered.

o The delivery item is not assigned to the plant you entered.

o The picking status of the delivery item is marked "not relevant" or

"picking complete"

o The WM status of the delibery item is "not relevant". In the delivery item, there is no open quantity to be picked.

I will be very glad if anyone can help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Hi,

First u create Storage bins (LS01N manually and LS10 automatically) and assign to material master.

You matain strategies.

SPRO>LE>WM-->Stretegies

1.Activate Storage Type Search

2.Activate Storage Section Search

3.Activate Storage Bin Type Search

Hi,

From the delivery overview screen, can you paste what the values are for the following fields:

Warehouse No. -> If this is blank, then WM picking is not relevant

OvrllPickStatus -> If this is C, then picking has already occured.

OverallWMStatus -> If this is blank, then WM picking is again not relevant.

Based on this you can do the analysis. Otherwise, you can paste the values from the deliveries as above and then we can check.

Warehouse No. -> blank (but how can I make it default th ewarehouse number? I had created the material before without the warehouse number, and then extended to the warehouse using MM01)

OvrllPickStatus -> A, not yet picked

OverallWMStatus -> blank, No WM trnsf ord reqd.

Where does all these lead us. I will be glad if you can help

pls check

1. whether the item have proper stock is available or not

Tcode : MMBE

2. pls check the combination of plant-> wharehouse is maintained or not

Table : T320(storage location to ware house no, T001L (slocation to plant)

3. pls chekc the wther material is relavnat for picking or not.

Tcode : VL02N and check

4. pls check whether material is relavant for Transfer order or not.

Tcode : VL02N and check

Hi Hari,

Thanks for your response.

1.stock is zero. This is because the material is intended to be a non stock item. Can i still have stock for a non stock item for this to work?

2.This has been maintained.IMG ->Enterprise Structure - >Assignment->Logistics execution->Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location. Is this what you mean?

3. Material not yet picked. From delivery document, Goto ->header->picking. Is this what you mean?

4. I could get where to check this in the delivery document.

So the system has given you all the hints you need to check.

Have you checked the given points ?If you are not able to trace anything from given hints then we will check furthur.

I have checked these points listed by the system.

The item was created in a known plant and warehouse. The picking status is also ''not yet picked'. This also (in my opinion) clears another message (In the delivery item, there is no open quantity to be picked)

It is the message (The WM status of the delibery item is "not relevant") is the only message i really dont have any clue how/where to check it.

I'll be glad if anyone can help further

Hi,

Go to T.Code OVLP and check whethere the Item is relevent for picking or not.

I had checked that. The item category is TAN is has been set to be relevant for picking.
