rdisp/max_wprun_time this parameter gives max runtime of work process.

For R/3 enterprise,

What is the standard / default value of this parameter.??

I have searched sap notes for recommendation for this parameter, but not found

So If know any note related about the value, please mention it.

Regards

Sachin

Hi,

SAP defined default value for this parameter is 600 sec. There is no need to * Stop/Start of the system inorder to reflect the changes , the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time is a dynamically switchable parameter.. and can be maintained through RZ11..The changes will be reflected in run time environment

Thanks.

Useful information that it is dynamic parameter.

It means for all sap transaction max runtime for single dialog step is up to 600 sec.

Because, before this time dialog work process has to complete current dialog step, otherwise dialog step will terminate when it exceeds time 600 sec.

Is it correct conclusion or else??

Sachin.

Yes, that's right.

Only one addition, the process will run for more than 600 secs when it is processing the same step. Only when the next step in the transaction is started, it is determined that the max runtime has been reached
