Context Notification Message

Hi All,

When I goto Environment -> Cache Notification in ID, I get the following error:

<b>"Unable to detemine the name of the central adapter engine from the SLD.

Notification to the central adapter engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the adapter engine.

This is usually structured as follows:

af.<system ID>.<Name of the application server>"</b>

Also when I got to SLD and try to create some BS ,"Related Integration Server" is not coming up.

Can you please let me know what would be the error and how this can be rectified.

Plz check whether your adapter engine is up & running.

also let us know, wht exactly u r trying to do? and the steps followed to create your BS?

Hi Vijaya,

I am trying to create an BS for third party system.So while defining it I am unable to see the "Integration Server" in the drop down.

Hi All,

Can any one please update me on this issue.

Also, please let me know how to check and start the server.

I have checked it in the Content Maintenance and it showed the server is running.

means your SLD is up and running.

Seems like xi components have not registered themselves in SLD. Ask your basis team to restart XI server.
