HI,
We have created transports in developement and released them in the sequence appropriate.
The same has been then imported to quality system.
Now in order to import them in Production they have to be approved first. There are 2 levels of approval.Approval by department and approval by system administrator.
Can we directly approved by the system manager avoiding the approval step of department.
Ideally not but thereare no departments as such being a small and vanila implementation.
Second question:
Can all the released and imported requests in quality be imported to production at one go ?
Do we need to follow the sequence in which they were imported to quality or we can import all the transports in to production as they are seen in the quality system
Finally, can we approve all the requests by select all and then clicking the approve button.
Request to suggest ASAP ..
Thanks in advance
Regards,
manOO
Hi,
Do you have Solution Manager Change Request Management(ChaRM) in place?
In case you don't have ChaRM and If its multiple approval level, maintain virtual systems for approvals in your TMS.
If you want to have Approval in Solution Manager, you need to have ChaRM in Place.
It can be imported at one go with import all. But if you have configured ChaRM import will be disabled, if you don't have ChaRM you can always "Import All".
Hope this solves your problem.
Feel free to revert back.
