Hi

You should have two diffrent credit control area's , one for each sales area

In transaction code OVFL, you can assign different credit control area's

Then in OVA8, Automatic Credit Control, you can maintain different settings for

credit control area 1 and 2, if you don't want in 2, do not maintain in 2,

but for Credit control area1Risk Category(defined in FD32) Credit Group(As per

document type), you can have dynamic or static credit check

Now in FD32, maintain seperate credit field's for different Credit control area's

for Credit control area 1 you can maintain Credit Limit.

I hope it is clear..

If you want different credit management for both credit Ctrl area then also it is possible you can maintain seperate credit limit for both Credit Ctrl area and also maintain combined limit in FD32

Jitesh

Hi Sunil,

Credit check cannot happen if u maintain FD 32. U need to assign the credit control area to the sales area for credit check to happen. The Risk category given in FD32 Identifies the Credit control area which inturn should be assigned to the sales are.

If any doubt plz let me know.

hai all,

i think even if u dont maintain credit control area in the customer master record ,

the system checks for the credit management to the particular customer.

in fd32 settings we can block but it is for the customer specific.

Hi,

In spro check the setting assign credit control area to sales area.

So maintain the credit control area assignment to the required sales area and maintain credit limit for customert in that sales area.

This will solve your issue.

Hi Amit,

Thanks for your reply but the problem is that if you assign that sales area then all the customers in that sales area will be blocked or unblocked. But i need to restrict that to only that specific customer.Hope you got my point.

Hi,

In that case don't maintain the credit control area in customer master for those you don't want credit block functionality.

Hello,

Credit block will happen even if you dont maintain the credit control area in customer master also.As it purely depends on FD32 (Customer Credit Management) settings and there it is not any sales area specific.

Hello,

Who says so,I have worked on the similar scenario and it works perfectly fine.

I think you need to explore the system functionalities.
