It's integration to SAP!
We looked at Websphere as well as XI, and the overall cost of XI suited us, as well as our landscape. We use XI for SAP to SAP, SAP to non-SAP, non-SAP to SAP and non-SAP to non-SAP.
It would depend on your budget, specific requirements, and what you are trying to achieve from your middleware product.
