How do we classify NAME SPACE in an R/3 Environment?
Could you please explain?
Thanks,
Willy
hi
Willy
Namespace is nothing but unique identification in your XI system, in R/3 it is nothing a Package or development class.
in name space u can store all ur scenarios
where as in your package u can store all ur objects.

Willy,
In case of R/3 environment - IDOC, RFC we have predefined namespaces which we can't change.
IDOC - urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
RFC - urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions
Remember these namespaces are not configured in R/3 instead these names are pre-defined in XI Repository.

Hi Willy,
Can you be more clear on what do u mean by classify namespace?
in XI, we classify namespaces based on the interfaces we are going to develop.
