1. Define Shipping Points

Shipping Point is the Organizational element, which is responsible for shipping the Materials to the Customers.

IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics Execution -> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point

2. Assigning Shipping Point to Plant (T.Code: OVXC)

This assignment ensures that goods from different Plant can be dispatched from different Shipping Points.

IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Logistics Execution -> Assign shipping point to plant

I already check in that tcode but it is still giving error

Shipping condn loading gp plant shipping point

001 00001 6080 6080

001 00001 6081 6080

Error : shipping point 6081 is not allowed for plant 6080

i am getting the above error pl clarify why it is giving such error

and secondly it should give error shipping point 6080 is not allowed for shipping point 6081and not the above mentioned error.

Hi pandey,

U need to assign that same shipping point to both the plant.

Go to enterprise structure , Assignment, logistics execution, assign shipping point to the plant.

There u assign the same shipping point in both the plants.

Then go to T. Code OVL2 and do the shipping point determination for both the plants.

Yes what u said is correct, but u assign the shipping points to the plant at the enterprise structure, ur errror will be solved

Yes.You can the relation between Plant and shipping points is Many to Many.

Yes. If the plant are in same vicinity, you can definealte map the 2 plants to same shipping point. Shipping point being at client level, Plant from different company code can also be mapped to same Shipping Point.
