Solved: Advantage of IDOC over RFC adapter

Hi,

external Application -

I am using File Adapter I was told to use IDOC Adapter

In XI -

> SAP, I think I can use RFC Adapter as well.

Wanted to know what is the advantage of IDOC adapter over RFC adapter ?

Hi,,

IDOC adapter runs on ABAP STACK and FRC on JAVA Stack.

Therefore in case of IDOC adapter processing time is less.

No sender agreement required in case of IDOC adapter.
