Hi,
I tried to install webas preview, in the drive selection it gives an error saying that the drive does not have proper format choose any other drive.
I am running the set up file from WIN XP machine.
Can anyone help me.

Hi Subrahmanyam,
For SAP systems on Windows the file system should be as NTFS only. If you want to change your FAT32 to NTFS use CONVERT.EXE windows command
<b>convert <drive> /fs:ntfs /v</b>
Your data will not be lost if you use the command. But you can't revert back to FAT32.
After using the command you try for the installation.

My XP desktop is NTFS, I dont use FAT for anything with some rare exceptions

I have installed the preview edition on my windows XP laptop and it requires NTFS formatted drive.

I have never used SAP with anything but NTFS.
Even on my laptop.
Can I ask why you are using FAT at all?

How are your drives formatted? NTFS, FAT16, FAT32 ?
