What is XI domain? out of these which one comes as XI domain

• Integration Server;

• ABAP Proxy System;

• Decentralized Adapter Engine;

• Tools;

Hey

ABAP proxy system does not comes in XI domain,coz we generate that on R/3 side(application system side).

Hi Kumar,

In simple terms XI domain is the combination of all the related componens of XI such as IR,ID,RWB,SLD.

Integration Server, Decentralized Adapter Engine are falls under XI. However ABAP proxy is also used in XI. There are concepts of ABAP and JAVA proxy that is used in XI.

Check the Overview of XI. All the terms in architecture page onwards comes under XI domain:

Sometimes we refer Dev,Test,Prod environment as XI Domain:

by tools do you mean the integration repository and directory development tool? ..

they are Java thick clients which reside in your local system.

Its integration sever as it comes under Xi system all other not on XI system.

is it an interview or cert question?
