Which role for the NWA?

Hi,

I want to give a user the permission to open e.g. System Information or SAP NetWeaver Administrator if he goes to the following url http://portaladress:port/index.html

Which role must be assigned to the standard user?

Hi Matt,

thanks for your answer. I've assigned the user the roles SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL_READONLY and SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_CENTRAL_READONLY.

Now he can access all resources except "System Information". The error message that the user gets is "You are not authorized to view the requested resource."

Hi Sait,

<i>The roles include the permissions that enable/disable certain elements in the UI as well as permissions to access the data in the managed system</i>

So I presume, then, that system data is considered privileged and available only to the full roles.
