Issue when creating setup package for mobile devices

I'm trying to create setup package for mass application deployment on mobile devices using setup package functionality in NWA. After I choose platform and persistence I got an error: <b>No framework assigned - cannot create package</b>.

Any idea how to solve that issue?

Hi Tomasz,

You should have already deployed NWMCLIENT using SDM tool. After deploying the NWMCLIENT, go to Mobile Components page and click on reload button. After the reload process is over, you have to create a Device configuration assigning the mobile component (e.g. MOBILEENGINE_JSP). This Device configuration has to be assigned to a hierarchy group.

If this process has been followed, you will not get this error

Hi Tomasz,

Have u created the seperate device component for framework.U need to create two device components.

1.Framework.

2.For Addons,application etc.
