Reg Setup packages

Hi All,

I am new to MI.when I am Creating Setup packages,its not allowing me to Create.

i got the error in Hierarchy that Exception in method hierarchy.

in which user name i have to create those Setup packages.

and also where can i write the programs for inbound container and outbound container.

Can anyone help me out in this.

hi prasantha,

The link which u send is the way only how to create setup packages,

but i did the same thing again i got the same problem, i can't able to create

anything from starting Hierarchy Grouping,Device Configuration,Device maintenance,

parameter Sets,setup Packages,mobile components,...so on in the Sap Netweaver Administrator Web Page.

i got the Errors:

Exception in method getHierarchy.

com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.BaseEJBException: Exception in method getOVSConfigurationTemplateServiceList.

java.lang.NullPointerException

Is there anyway to Create all these or did i missed anything in the Configuration settings.

can anyone please help me out in this,
