SWCVs VS. Namespaces

Dear all,

I'm having a discussion over here concerning the organisation of our XI Repository. The discussion is whether to define different systems in different SWCVs or to include them in one SWCV and define a namespace for each system.

My believe is that you should create a SWCV for eacht system, and in complex situations even create one for mappings and other shared objects.

Any thoughts to back up this story?

Cheers.

Hi Schotanus,

latterally speaking SWCV and namespace are to logically group together the objects of IR.Generally 1 SWCV means 1 system.....

Well, it would be ideal to have a SWCV for a particular system and namespaces under it to group the interfaces that are involved with the particular system.
