Hi,

I wanted to do a RFC to File scenario. I imported a BAPI to IR also. It shows me the request parameters it takes. How can I find the response parameters?

Also, should i create Data type for the request and the response or can I use the request BAPI directly in MI? Kindly help

Thanks

Anju

For IDOCs/RFCs you dont need to create the DTs / MTs

Hi Anju,

wanted to do a RFC to File scenario. I imported a BAPI to IR also. It shows me the request parameters it takes. How can I find the response parameters?

In imported objects double click on the BAPI and in the right hand side theres a dropdown where you can find trequest and response.

Also, should i create Data type for the request and the response or can I use the request BAPI directly in MI? Kindly help

You dont need to create Data type for the request and response parameters.

You can use the BAPI structure which you imported directly in MI.

Sumit

ps : reward points if that solved your problem

Hi,

Thanks for the help. But I am quite confused now.

Aim is to get RFC output to a File. But first I need to hit RFC request parameters with an input (mostly from a file again) and then only i ll get an output.

Can someone show me some light into this.. Would really appreciate..

thanks

Does the BAPI contain a Response parameter?

Can you check it in the R/3 system?
