Hi Sasi,

Personally, I am using the External Defenitions as a basis for my Message Interfaces from the MDM syndicator. I am importing the XSD files based on the XML files from the MDM syndicator. In this way I have the complete structure for input/output to the MDM server.

Of course it can be used to import other predefined structures.

In other words, it saves you a lot of time

hi

Suppose u have pre-defined file in WSDL,XSD,DOD FOrmat.

It is posiible to import to IR Using External Def.

After Importing no need for Creting Data,Message types.

Directly Create Message Interface if Messages are there in u r file.

Thanks

Hi

External definitions enable you to import WSDL, XSD, and DTD documents to the Integration Repository so that you can access the message definitions they contain as external messages.

An external definition enables you to import a local WSDL, XSD, or DTD file to the Integration Repository. The can mainly be used in case of;

1. Output or input messages in message interfaces

2. Source or target structures for message mappings
