Error occurred while connecting to the FTP

Hi All,

I am getting following error in File 2 File scenario.

Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server java.net.UnknownHostException

Can any one suggest me to resolve this problem.

Hi Pullarao,

If you have remote access to server then login to server and Click on

Start Menu -> Run

Type the following ..

ftp://<IPADD>

where ipadd means the ip address of the ftp server you want to connect to.

One more thing if you are giving the ftp server name then try once and give the FTP server IP Address.

Hi,

it means that XI does not have access to FTP

ask you basis admin if the ports are opened to FTP from XI machine
