SAP Business Connector

Hi,

Our client is on SAP 4.6C. We need to redesign an interface which sends 'Approved Time' from SAP to peopleSoft.

PeopleSoft recieves data in the form of CSV or XML.

Can we use SAP BC? But heard that SAP no longer supports it, but asks to do with SAP XI. But we cant have XI, since we are on 4.6C

Or should we go for any other technology?

Please let me know suggestions.

sap still supports it and yes you can use it

sure you can have XI with 4.6 c

you can use IDOC (book link below) or RFC

you only won't be able to use abap proxies but you don't need them at all

Thanks for clearing my confusion.

But do you suggest BC or XI? Having XI for just one interface may not be ideal is not it? I dont think BC will be supported for long.

XI for just a single interface doesnt make sense !!!

But in case in future you see a chance for more interfaces to be developed, XI would be an opt choice.

XI for just once interface .... if the company has the money then do it

it can be used for many other interfaces later on
