Some points to consider

1. You need to use SXI_CACHE from XI server.

2. Is the SLD up and running?

3. Use tcode SLDCHECK and verify the connection to SLD is fine.

Thanks for the quick responses,

Firstly, The SLD is up and running, the tcode sldcheck is also fine.

regarding the business system it appears to be fine as i am able to c that in ID.

Any other hints

In transaction sm59, check the connection INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.

See if you can test that connection successfully. If you cannot, check the user, pwd and connection details for that.

Hi Manish

The HMI connection is working fine.

Is there any thing else which will trigger the cache data in to the abap stack?

Hi Nisar,

In transaction SICF, choose default_host->sap->xi. Check that all the services are active. In particular, the ones that relate to caches are <i>cache</i> and <i>cache_ssl</i>.

Check whether all the service users are okay and are not locked. Also check the current SLD cache (table LCRT_CLNTCACHE). This can be cleared via function module LCR_CLEAR_CACHE.

I would recommend you read the guide '<u>How to Handle Caches in SAP XI 3.0</u>' available on SDN at the following URL.

Hi,

Run transaction SLDCHECK. Check whether the system can get it's own business system name.

If not, then check the Business System configured in the SLD. Pay close attention to the client it is configured to.
