material not determined for sales org 1000, dist ch 10,language DE

I copied the sap standard material p-101 and created a mm.

whenever a sales order is created this error shows up.

also checked the langue in Material master in additional tab but still the same error.

Hi Gita,

1, Please check the sales area in which ur material is created. When u r creating the sales order in a sales area that differs from ur material u will get that error.

So go to material master and check the division in which ur material was created. Probably Ur material division varies from that of sales order division. So go to material master and check it.

In training version of SAP, IDES is used everywhere.

In which they have given 1000 as the model company which is located in Country :DE= Germany ( as per the company code 1000 configuration)

when you are working on system , by default we login EN language.

this conversion hasn't maintained for ;your material while creating .

So go to MM02, click on additional data, here u maintain the

language -

Description as

EN----

---

test material

DE----

---

Test material

and save the MMR.

Now create Order and see the results

Hi

I think there is division maintained in the material master and that is the reason why it is giving this error. In the customer master and the material master the division should be the same(if you have not maintained common divisions). Please check that (or)

In the sales order config screen i think the item division field is checked that is the reason why it is checking for item division instead of sales order division.

Also check the material master if the tax classification is maintained or not. If it is not mainatained thatn go to OVK1 and then mainain the tax classification for MWST for the country DE and it should work fine.

Hi,

Hope u r working in IDES, Since u hv copied ur material from std please edit ur material in MM02, click on additional data and in description tab give value in language field as DE and enter description of your material.
