hi
In SXI_CACHE we do AE cache monitoring. But is there anything like Idoc adapter cache monitoring ?? If it is there how we will do idoc adapter cache monitoring ??
thanks
kumar
Kumar,
Generally IDOC Cache in the sense it refers to IDX2 , IDOC Meta data, if i'm not wrong..

Kumar,
There is no Idoc cache monitoring. Once when you go to sxi_cache --> Start Complete Cache Refresh.
This will make all the caches updated on the ABAP stack.

AE cache of SXI_CACHE is for the central Adapter engine. But the IDoc is present in the ABAP stack not on the central server. I wonder if IDoc adapter has cache. I knwo that it will have metadata which will be loaded dynamically in transaction IDX2. If it is not loaded then you can load it manually. So when ever the IDoc changes, the metadata needs to be up to date. this will ensure that the IDOC that is being passed and the structure being used in XI is same.
