HTTP POST FROM EXTERNAL SYSTEM TO SAP AII 4.0

Hello.

We are using SAP AII 4.0 and trying to post from the device controller to SAP AII. We are not clear about the format of the HTTP POST command. Could someone please provide an example of the HTTP POST command from the device controller to SAP AII. I am looking for the format of the HTTP POST command for all field such as port, IP address, etc.

I am looking for a complete example.

Hi Bob,

You should post on following link from device controller to AII

http://servername:port/sap/scm/ain?sap-client=100

Server Name: Name of the server

Port: you can find that value from Tcode: SMICM or else check with your Basis Consultant.

But before that ensure that the service sap>scm>ain in Tcode: SICF is activated. Also ensure that the user and password in the logon data are maintained.
