PPOMA_BBP error

Hello everybody,

We are on SRM 4.0 (SRM SERVER 5). We recently copied our production sytem to sandbox and upgraded the support packs on the sandbox. We have run the usual bdls etc to correct the logical systems.

We created 2 orgs using ppoca - 1 for the company and another for the vendor. We have run relevant reports to get the logical system changed and the attributes fixed for the whole org. The company org seems to be completely ok. When I try to change the ITS_DEST (there are no other attributes defined in this org) and save, I get an abap dump.

When I run the BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE txn for the vendor org I get a message "address not up-to-date". When I try to fix it through bbp_bp_om_integrate I get the same dump again.

In both the cases the error I get is (from ST22)

Did you ever resolve this ? We have just upgraded to SP12 and are getting the same short dump error when trying to save in the root org.

Thanks for your help.

I have tried to publish my ITS templates via Report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES. I still have the same short dump, when I try to save changes in the org structure.

When I run BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE for for the vendor org I get the message that basic data does not exist for the root note, and that it is neccesary to update vendors address. This is very difficult when saving is not possible.

Hi Folks!

We had the same error after upgrading our SRM 4.0 to patch SP12.

SAP told us to regenerate Badi BUPA_SAVE_CONTROL. After that we could save changes to PPOMA_BBP again.

I have check my values and they are the correct ones. We have just patched to SAPKIBKS12. The problem have only occured after the patching.

Do you have any other suggestions.

For both the attribute

ITS_EXT and ITS_DEST (pls chech the correct attri name) please give the correct value and then I think it will serve the purpose.

Hi Venkat,

After Reading your problem i understood that you need to check the address of

each level in the organisation and also existing users.

Some times during copying system will not copy all the details.

so i suggest you to recheck your address details in the every level of your

organisation structure.

try to do the consistency check at the organisation level and also use transaction

USERS_CHECK and select Check users.

Hi,

For Vendor Address check, u need to go in BP transaction or log in to the user with the magnagerial role and go to Manage Business Partner--> Edit Address, you can edit the vendor address their.

In the ITS_EXT, u need to maintain the http:// link you can get the link in SE16 --> table name - TWPURLSVR.

Please maintain the same and check.

For creating Vendor Root Organization U need to logs in --> PPOMV_BBP..

Thanks for your quick response!

Firstly, we are on SRM 4.0 and therefore PPOCV is not appropriate transaction for us. Secondly, I get the abap dump when I click on the vendor root org and try to change the address (or make any sort of change to the root org) and save it. I get the same abap dump when I execute BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE transaction and try to correct the vendor root org. Initially when I execute BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE for the vendor root org I get the message "address not up-to-date". When I select the org and click on Start Synchronization Procedure button I get the exact same abap dump as PPOMA_BBP.

This org is live in production and is working well. Ideally we should have to only change the logical systems, rfcs, its destination, org structure attributes to make a copy of the production work in sandbox.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Hi venkat,

Using PPOCA_BBP for creating vendor root is not correct i think. Just check it.
