Hi all WebDynpro gurus,

I have developed an application which uses around 6 models from different backends. Its working fine in development servers.

Now we have to shift to quality servers.

While creation of those models I had specified the development servers IP address for backends, now those will be changed along with JCo names.

So how to go about it ? Do I need to again create those models ?

Hi

Create the JCo connection with same name as it is specified in developement server and make sure that you create technical system for backend server

hope this helps,

Regards,

Arun

Hi Arun

Thanks for ur reply.

But while creating models we give the IP addresses of the servers along with the JCo names. So do i need to reimport the model ? Or changing the names of JCo will suffice ?

Hi

Give the IP address / Host name of the back end server in JCO Connection creation.

i think no need of model recreation is required.

just try to run the application from Content Administrator of webdynpro in that select your application and select run. if the application run then no issues

let me know for further
