Hi Madhus,
There are lot of SAP Training Institutes in Bangalore, you can go through Monday's Times of India news paper you get many adds, in jayanager alone you can find around 8-10 institutes for SAP, they all charge just 20-25K per module.
Yes, if you learn PP then its easy to learn SAP PDM/PLM on your own.
Best Regards
Rehman
Hi Madhus,
You can start with Overview on SAP PLM, As SAP PLM is very vast in itself as you are exposed to PLM processes it will be easy for you catch up,
There are two parts in SAP, the Material Master (Creation, Change, Maintenance), Classification System, Document Management System (DMS), Bill of Materials (BOM), etc. would be a part of PDM as all these objects (components) are taken in cross applications.
Then next part will be CFolders, Cprojects (collaboration Engineering) for which you need to have a knowledge on SAP Project Systems too.
Follow this link for more details on Cprojects/Cfolders.

There are few documents on DMS, BOM, etc in pdf format you can even download and gothrough them
