SERVICE ORDER PROCESSING

Hi Gurus

Can any one explain the process of service ????what are the documents involved in it

my client manufactures electrical control panels and when any problem comes he sends his service engineers and do the service so my client charges the service charges incurred. I want to map the same in SAP can anyone explain the same.
