Hi Khanna,
You dont need to create Technical System for Web AS ABAP.
Do the following in SAP system then you can see that a entry for that system is created in SLD.
1) SLDAPICUST : Use the transaction code to enter SLD details.
2) RZ70 : Enter SLD server details and click on activate and then execute the program.
Now once the entry is created in SLD , go to the Technical System in SLD.
You will find Business System Tab. Click on that and create the Business System.

Hi Sumit,
How Ever Here We have to Create The TS And The BS For R/3 System. Then What is the Reason To Execute the RZ70 ????
Here in SLD After We Execute RZ70 We Can See the Default Clients When We Maintained the SLD Data Supplier Bridge.
But Here Iam Unable to see those Default Clients Either in TS Or In BS
Please Let me Know All the Above
Regards
Khanna
Hi Rajesh,
If you execute RZ70 then all the details of the SAP R/3 system would be visible in the SLD, like Clients, Application Servers, Database details ,etc , etc.
SLD Data Supplier brigde is a different concept all together.
You can use SLD Data Supplier to send Data across different SLD.
Like if a SAP system sends data about itself to a development SLD, then in development SLD if you define Data Supplier then the same data can be transported in the QA sld using data supplier bridge.
What is your XI version?

Hi Rajesh,
You should see the list of clients by default. Yes R/3 Clients.
when you execute RZ70 on the below you will see <b>Data Collection Programs</b>.
Select all the check boz and click on activate and then execute.
The clients should be visible after a few minutes.
If you still cant see the client click on the Client tab and then add the client manually.
You didnt say which version of XI you are using.

Sumit
ps : reward points if that helped u .
Hi Sumit,
Here We Are Using PI7.0.
I was Done this RZ70 TC.After this
I can See the List of Clients in TS of Clients TAB These Clients Are Existed in the XI System NOT in the R/3 System ..(000,001,066,100)
Here I Want to Define A TS For R/3 System of Client 800.
Then How we can Define the TS for R/3 System ????
Regards
Khanna
Hi Sumit,
I Have Done These in R/3 System
1) SLDAPICUST--Here I Entered Host name of XI Server, Port No ,User As PIAPPLUSER
2) RZ70.--Here I Entered Host name of XI Server, Service As i Found in RZ70 Of XI System.
And Activated And Executed the Program.
But Still I Didn't got the R/3 Clients In SLD of TS----Clients TAB.

Khanna
Hi Sumit,
When U Told the thing that first time to execute the RZ70 and All i Did this in XI System
So I got An Entry for the Technical System for XI System.
Now i Deleted that and Executed RZ70 in R/3.
When I Executed RZ70, I got this Error.
<b> "RFC Call failed: Error Opening an RFC Connection "</b>.
Now I am Unable to see Any Technical System Under Web As ABAP. It's Showing Empty Now.
Please Let me know
Regards
Khanna
Hi Rajesh,
I guess theres some misunderstanding..
Did you delete the entry for XI Technical System? or for R/3 TS?
If you deleted for XI .. Login to XI and then execute the transaction code RZ70.
RZ70 in XI and R/3 is different.
Let us start all over again..
Login to XI and also login to R/3.
Run the following transaction codes in XI and whatever is entered in XI enter the same in R/3 side.
1) SLDAPICUST
2) RZ70
3) SM59. Check TCP/IP Destination SLD_NUC & SLD_UC.
In both the above destinations enter whatever is there in XI destinations.

Sumit

Hi Sumit,
I Have Done What You Mentioned in this on Both Sides R/3 And XI Systems ...
After this I got XI Technical System Name with updated time "06/11/2007 12:30" And XI Clients 000,001,066,100.
But there is no R/3 Technical System in the list.
I have Checked with those TCP/IP Connections . All Are Fine As it is in the XI System only.
But Still I am Unable to get the R/3 Tech Name ..

Khanna
Hi Rajesh,
It is not so tough..Just go through my earlier post..
As you said the TCP/IP destination is not working in R/3.
In that case open the destinations both in XI as well as R/3 which i mentioned earlier.
What ever parameters you see in XI TCP/IP destination enter the same parameters in the R/3 destinations.
Save & Test the destination. If you get a success message.
Next go to RZ70 in R/3 and execute .
It willl work.

Sumit
