Hi gurus

We are installing Java Add In for NW2004s BI 7.03. We installed Central

Services Instance (SCS) Java Add-In and Database Instance Java Add-In

succesfuly. But in Central Instance Java Add-In we take an error. In

phase 7 of 18 "start java engine" we have this error message:

ERROR 2007-06-08 03:30:20

CJS-30153 Java process server0 of instance D20/DVEBMGS00 reached state

UNKNOWN after having state STARTING. Giving up.

ERROR 2007-06-08 03:30:20

FCO-00011 The step startJava with step key

|NW_Addin_CI|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_CI_Instance|ind|ind|ind|ind|8|0|NW_CI_Instance_StartJava|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|startJava was executed with

status ERROR .

We restart the install but still we take same error. Why we take this

error message and how can we resolve it?

Best regards

Hi

Check the permission of the command lanscan in your system.Give full rights to it.

Secondly see

1.from the std_dispatcher.out:

Critical Error

Can't initialize local request queue

-> Internal program error (rc = -1)

2.std_server0.out

SAP J2EE Engine Version 7.00 PatchLevel is starting...

Loading: PoolManager ... 2 ms.

Loading: ApplicationThreadManager ... 60 ms.

Loading: ThreadManager ... 13 ms.

Loading: LockingManager ... 103 ms.

Loading: ConfigurationManager ... JVMJ9VM034E jvmri requires trace engin

Loading: ConfigurationManager returned false!

Kernel not loaded. System halted.

If you are getting the exact above two errors, this means that there are some old enque and message server running.you can get this info from /pro file system.Kill all the processes and restart SCS.Hopefully ur prob will be solved.

For posterity... This error is usuall due to an issue with the database connectivity or the SCS message server process. Try bouncing the entire system, including the database. Our issue appeared to be a problem with SCS was having issues with the internal memory structures.
