Hi

Assumption

The SLD server and the SLD bridge are deployed after each SAP Web AS 6.40 has been installed

Steps

Create a Role LcrAdministrator in UME and assign a com.sap.lcr.LcrAdministrator Action to the role.Assign this role to Administrator user. Now go the content Administration for webdynpro and now you can see the jco creation button are enabled

Thanks and Regards,

Arun

Hi Sara,

This happens if you have'nt done the sld configuration.

First you need to identify the SLD and add your system to it or

you can have your local SLD.

Follow the following steps to do that:

1.Go to the Visual Administrator and open the data supplier service.

2.In the HTTP settings and the CIM tab make the valid entries for the sld host

and the technical system respectively and trigger the SLD data transfer.

3. Now go to the http://system:port/sld and check for the technical system you've

added.

4.If you're not using the router you'll need to make an entry in the system service file sapms<SIDname> 36<CI no>/message server.

Once you've made this entry now go to the content admin again and check for the active SLD by starting the SLD from there.

Now the jco connection should work.
