my clients requirement is he want to add warranty field for material in sales order as additional field. how it can be added in sales orderbecause it has no warranty field in sales order so that while creating order one of the option can be selected. is it through additional data, if which one has to be use, is it material group1,2,3 ec. pls tell

Hi krishna prasad,

U want in VA01 warranty at item level.So plz check in header in Text tab there will be warranty.So its ok in header level and u want it in item level so simply go and maintain Text for item level it will be easy to client and for u to use and configure.Finally it will get u in u r out put.

hi krishna,

if it's pre defined application u cant add field to the application directly,

with the help user-exit or badi u can add warranty field to application,

first try to know about user-exit or badi related your application then u can add field to that application,

best thing is that u can take technical guy help to do this funntionality.
