What is SMP"

Hi,

I am new to SAP. I was trying to download the trial version for SAP Netweaver and ABAP. It asks for SMP login. What is it and how to get the same?

Please guide me how to download the trial version.

Shilpa,

SMP stands for Serveice Market Place where you download SAP CDs ,looks for SAP notes , Contact SAP for help etc. But in your case it shouldnt ask for SAP login as Trial version can be downloaded using SDN login.

No i dont have SMP login

Hi,

SMP stands for Service market place.

http://service.sap.com is the required site.

You need a s-user id to access it.

I have tried signing up for an SMP account but it is asking me for a Customer or Installation Number ⁽¹⁾ * ... I do not have this, where can I get this ?
