Hi,
We are planning to migrate our SAP ECC5.0 server from Windows 32 bit and Oracle 9i database to Windows 64bit and Oracle 10g database.
We have started the export process from the existing server for the data of size nearly 70GB. The export process is running for the past 22 hours and still not completed.
Can anybody please tell me whether the time taken for the export process is a normal one and if so what will be the approximately duration it will take for the export of 70GB data.
Thanks and Regards,
Abdul.
This is VERY difficult to say, depending on your I/O subsystem, configuration, memory, number of R3load processes etc.
An export from a 1,3 TB database takes on our site about 32 hours completely with 8 R3load processes on a 8 CPU box with 48 GB of memory.
