Partial Picking delivery.

Hi Gurus,

In Delivery how can Partially picking be enabled to make the delivery document complete and save it after PGI.

plz make sure ur picking quantity is equal to ur delivery quantity in VL01N then u can make partial delivery.

In most of the cases we do not configure Warehouse Management. In That case we do simple Picking.

In Outbound Delivery, we go the Picking Tab Page & maitain Delivery Plant, Storage Location & Pick Qiantity. Delivery Quantity is defaulted. As a rule Delivery Quantity should always be equal to Pick Quantity. Delivery Quantity is white field & Delivery Quantity can be modified if we want to deliver lesser quantity.

It is also possible to bypass Pick quantity based on configuration in Delivery Item Category (relevance for picking field). Inthat case we need not maintain any Pick Quantity.

hi,

if you want to do PGI for a partial quantity of the order quantity at delivery, change the delivery qunatity and simply pick that much. Now at the delivery level, what you have selected as the delivery quantity , that much should be picked. Only when the picking is complete you can do the PGI.

As far as partial deliveries is concerned, you can maintain them at customer master level.

Try to do partial picking in delivery for the confirmation quantity.

Never asssume things that it will be there in Delivery.

Take your valid time and reply to my Questions with a valid point.

yu have to check the paritail delievry allowed in customer master . sales area ...shipping tab page...and in delievry documents check the delievry split..
