r/3 instance under SAP NetWeaver

Hi,

if i install SAP NetWeaver is there some r/3 instance?

I installed SAP NetWeaver for linux, and if i start it looks like there is a r/3 instance.

Hi Péter

I'm assuming you did the Web AS installation of SAP NetWeaver. If you installed the ABAP option or the ABAP with Java Add-in option it will look somewhat like a R/3 system. You can equate the NetWeaver Web AS to the "Basis" layer in an R/3 system. You do not have the application layer code. So there is no FI, MM, HR etc.
