No detailed information existsfor this person - while adding Adhoc approver

Hello,

After setting up agent assignment to task WS1000271 (via a role), we get the following warning message whenever the requestor adds a new adhoc approver. This is happening for the single step approval workflow.

'No detailed information exists for this person'

The approvers are shown correctly as per the agent assignment but the approver user id is displayed instead of the name.

After ordering the shopping cart, the workflow goes into error state when it reaches the adhoc approver. I could see the workflow container for the second agent does not have any details. It is like 'US'

Any ideas why this happens?

How are you adding the adhoc approvers?

Are you trying to search for approvers and adding the approvers? are you just entering the approver name and adding?

This SAP OSS Note will solve the issue.

Please refer OSS Note 1014774 - Error WD 280 when you insert an additional approver

<i>Symptoms -></i><u>If an approver of a classic workflow (non-BADI) inserts an additional approver during the approval, error message WD 280 'Object type '&1' not valid' is displayed when saving the change.</u>

But we have already applied those notes. The message which we get is not an error message but a warning message ' No detailed information exists for this person' BBP_PU 312

When I debugged, the approver names where not getting filled up from the FM BBP_PDH_WFL_SC_AGENTS_SORT.

1062509 comes close to solving the issue I think , I am going to try it.

Meanwhile please let me know if you have any other ideas.

Incase the problem still happens, then try the following SAP OSS Notes as well ->

<u>Note 950997 - BBP_PDH_WFL_AGENT_DETAIL_GET if no approver exists</u>
