ESS Personal Data getting java.lang.nullpointerexcepetion

HI,

We are using ess 60.2 business package and our portal is on EP7.0 sp9 patch and backend is ECC5.0,

When i go to personal data iview of ESS,i am getting this following error.

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

java.lang.NullPointerException

at java.util.Date.after(Date.java:895)

at com.sap.xss.per.helpers.OverviewHelper.hasDeleteButton(OverviewHelper.java:355)

at com.sap.xss.per.helpers.OverviewHelper.CreateOverview(OverviewHelper.java:221)

at com.sap.xss.hr.per.gb.personal.overview.BizCardsView.wdDoModifyView(BizCardsView.java:154)

at com.sap.xss.hr.per.gb.personal.overview.wdp.InternalBizCardsView.wdDoModifyView(InternalBizCardsView.java:325)

... 31 more

Can any one tell me what is the problem here.

Hi Vinay,

Your frontend patch is not compatible with the backend patch.

please check and install the compatible patches to avoid this error.
