Business Scenario:
Plant A request materials from Plant B. All requirements are made using Stock Transport Purchase Requisitions (Supplying Plant B) so they can be converted afterwards in Stock Transport Orders. In Plant B the MRP is executed in order to create Purchase Requisitions that are going to be converted to Purchase Orders to vendors later on. The MRP Type used is "PD".
The Stock Transport Purchase Requisitions that Plant A generates have to go through Release Strategies.
The issue is:
Even though the Stock Transport Purchase Requisition is BLOCKED (not released by the release strategy) the MRP executed in Plant B considers the requirement, creating a Purchase Requisition. The problem is that if the Stock Transport Purchase Requisition is rejected afterwards, Plant B has it as a purchase requirement or can has been processed as Purchase Order.
Is there any customizing setting by which you can control that Stock Transport Purchase Requisitions blocked by release strategy are not considered by the MRP executed in the supplying plant?
If not, is there any customizing setting in which the MRP in Plant B does not consider the Stock Transport Purchase Requisitions? Having in mind that the MRP Type used is "PD".
