How to check SAPEVT Version?

Hi,

SAP Note 745468 describes the problems related to SAPEVT and Kernel.

However, the note doesn't describe the way to check SAPEVT version. Anybody has a good idea to check the version?

command line base check?

size comparison?

date comparison?

Hi,

sapevt -v should give you the version name i think.

Hi,

I saw SAP Note 802172 and tried to use -V option.

However, below was displayed.

---

usage: sapevt event [-p param] [-t]

pf=<profile> | name=<Name> nr=<nn>

---

I think the version is not 4 or higher.

Do you have any ideas?

Hi,

i too executed and the system responded in the similar fashion.

i think the 640 kernel and above supports -v option.

i do not know of any other way, except downloading the correct version from SAP website.
