my file from source is not deleted from folder in file 2 file scenario and adapter status is red in rwb. even i selected deletion option in communication channel.
Do check for status text (error description) in the sender communicaton channel in RWB.
Also check the permissions ( Read,write and Execute) of the file and the folder that u are polling. Check the processing parameters of ur sender communciation channel whether u have unchecked or checked the process-read-only files option.
Check wheter a sender agreement is present or not.check the file path mentioned in the communication channel is correct also check the file name i.e check for the uppercase or lowercase in teh file name.
Also if u have placed the file on Xi server, check wheter u are using NFS protocol.
Do one thing, change the mode to Test/Archive instead of Delete and check that is the scenario working or not. If this works it means you donot have permission to delete the file. If the scenario doesnot work is this case also then there might be other possibilities.
it seems u dnt have permission to delete file in that directory.
even if XI is unable to delete ur file but still it is able to poll n process it. see SXMB_MONI...if everything else in ur scenario is correct then moni will show successful processing.
