Hi Everyone,

I got this error while installing SAP 4.7 on Windows 2003 Server.

Installed windows 2003 with Service pack 2

Installed j2sdk1.4.2_14

Installed Oracle 9i - Version Release 9.2.0.4.0

Installed SAP Central Instance

while installing SAP Database Instance - during Create Oracle Database

CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced.

please help me with the possible solution for the above error.

Hi,

Did u installed the patcheset for oracle 9.2.0.4.0 after installing the oracle engine plz install the relevant patchset too

Hi,

As far as i know the problem is with ur undo table space.. probably it is not created..I will suggest to start the database instace instalaltion from the start

But, I have done the whole installation process 3 times from the begining. (including OS/Service Pack2/Java SDK/Environment settings/Oralce database /SAP CI)

I'm getting struck at Database Instance all the three times .

Hi Bala,

Did the UNDOTBS1 exists? Is it temporal? Do you delete it before re-install the DB?

You can try to manually (or with the Oracle Enterprise Manager) create/repair the undo TBS and continue, or like Umesh said you must reinstall the DB instance.
