Hardware requirements

Hi,

I am new to SAP and we are currently planning to install SAP ERP 2005 for development and testing puposes.

From what I have read in the master guide so far, I understand that the extended landscape would be the most ideal setup.

I would like to confirm, that we would have 2 hosts which 1 will be solely to hold ERP 2005 and another to hold NW 2004s.

As we are currently going to use these servers for development purposes, we don't really need a full blown server. We will probably have at most 30 to 40 users on it only.

What sort of server requirements should we be looking at for these servers?

I have done some research and I was wondering if these requirements are feasible.

ERP 2005 host (Windows 2003 Server)

2 x Intel Xeon 3.0 Ghz (dual core)

4 GB RAM

250GB Hard Disk

NW 2004s host (Windows 2003 Server)

2 x Intel Xeon 3.0 Ghz (dual core)

2 GB RAM

250 GB Hard Disk

We are planning deploy the SAP GRC modules in the NW 2004s host.

Do advice if the server sizings are enough.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The above config is sufficient enough, apart from this u also need Solution manager to get the key at the time of installtion and also for other configs
